Question for the people here. Is there an expert on mongoose and/or duiker species of West-Africa? I did my MSc thesis fieldwork in Guinea-Bissau and placed cameratraps there, but the mongoose species are hard to recognize for me as someone who doesn't have a lot of expertise on mammals of West-Africa.
Duikers also gave some problems, though I am more sure about their identification than the mongoose species.
Contact with Naturalis, WUR and Chimbo didn't deliver the help I need. Is there someone here who could help me with species identification of the camera trap data?

Picture for what data to expect. Though, most are clips with a duration of 15 seconds when taken at night and 60 seconds when taken during the day.
However, most of the time there are about 3 seconds of footage available with the actual mongoose.

Conversation is also possible in Dutch ;)

Not a specialist, but I recommend you to try the forum on Mammalwatching.com aswell.
A lot of experienced mammalwatchers on that site.

This is a White-tailed mongoose. This species normally has a white tip to the tail, but individuals with a dark tail like this are quite common, especially in wetter areas...
