I don´t know the parents. One must be N. rufina but which one is the other?
Is A. platyrhynchos the other?
I am quite sure that one is a Netta hybrid.

Rosybill (Nettapeposaca) X Red Crested Pochard (Netta rufina).

I know such hybrids from captivity (e.g. Zoo Munich).

In the following topic ( http://forum.waarneming.nl/forum/index.php...=0&hl=krooneend ) we agreed it would be a hybrid of N. rufina and A. platyrhynchos, and not Netta rufina X Netta peposaca. Wat are your considerations to see Peposaca Duck parentage in it?

Misschien zelfs dezelfde vogel?
Jorn, you say this:

But wat do you think of the above quoted post? Look also unto the photograph, a sure hybrid of N. rufina and A. platyrhynchos, seen in Spain.
