I think these look good for Ross x Keizergans , where did you see them?
Do you have any more photos?

and would you mind if i post your photo also on another birder forum?

At the German Club 300 these photos from Spiekeroog from end of August were posted:

This looks very much as if these are the same individuals.

Yas, they look much the same! Funny!

But I don't thinks these are Ross x emperor goose. Because I think i remember that this hybrid, shows some dark spots on the undertail. The birds in this topic have completely white undertail coverts.

I think colored undertail coverts which seem to be typical for most emperor goose crosses, must not nessecarily occur in ross or snow x emperor goose hybrids.
This would be an exception to other emperor goose hybrids but
there have been several photos around which i would interpret as these crosses, but with much white and all white undertail coverts.

which other species would you propose here then?

I don't know. I've seen this type of hybrid a couple of times and never got a satisfying answer. The only hybrid where I actually really have no clue. If I had to bet on it, I would say Ross x lesser white fronted (dwerggans)

No, it's only a guess. But I wouldn't be to surprised if it would look something like this.

No, I meant of birds like these hybrids here -

if these here  were the combination Ross x lesser whitefront there should be no black in the beak I would think (Both suggested parents do not have black in the beak) and it seems to me these hybrids here might have some black in the beak?? but I am not sure.

They were here in the hybrid forum. But probably hard to find...

Not exactly the same though... But the dark eyepatches and the pattern do look a bit the same.

It doesn´t give enough details, but it seems to me that it also has some black on the beak.

this one has some black on the beak and the breast pattern is good for emperor goose- I would guess emperor x snow here.

but that doesn´t  mean the initial geese in this thread here must be the same combination....

I have contacted the poster and asked if there are more photos....
