Voor de liefhebbers een interessante downloadlink naar artikelen over o.a. wolven en veepredatie in veel verschillende landen. Ik ontving juist het volgende per mail:
I take the opportunity to send you issue 17 of the CDPNews - Carnivore Damage Prevention News (for those that still haven't got it) - the eight and last one produced within the LIFE MedWolf Project (with the contribution of the LIFE financial instrument of the European Commission).
This issue focus on socioeconomic aspects related with LC mitigation efforts, implemented mostly in Europe, but also in South America. The previous issues of the CDPNews, having a wider or a more specific focus, covered different experiences and tools used in various parts of the world, focusing mainly on the grey wolf, but also brown bear, wolverine, and Eurasian lynx in Europe, as well as the puma, jaguar, and a guild of other carnivores. You can download them at the project's website:
http://www.medwolf.eu/index.php/cdpnews.html During the span of the MedWolf Project it was possible to produce 8 issues, publish 60 articles by 139 researchers/managers, from 25 countries in 5 continents. This was possible due to the joint work, willingness and resilience of editors and authors. The editors welcome the translation, reprint and further distribution of the CDPNews and urge you to disseminate it to other researchers, managers, and entities that may find it useful.
Despite the end of the MedWolf Project the CDPNews will continue during the next years within the LIFE EuroLargeCarnivores Project, so be sure to follow the next edition.
