Hi,
observado is a remarkable good system for keeping records of bird observations. I love using ObsMapp with my smartphone ... it's just great!

But there is 1 feature that I really miss: I would like to have my own code list for bird observations.
The last 3 decades we were using a list of 18 codes (O = no breeding bird, H = bird in approp. habitat during breeding season, S= singing male, V=many (more than 3) singing male, P = pair etc etc) which makes our observations comparable over the time.

It would be great when this feature would be part of the setup of ObsMapp.
Maybe it could be part of a region admin setup so that all people that join could download the same codes for the region on their smart phone...?

Gerold the problem with codes will always occur because countries, organisations and people want to use their own coding. within the species group birds we use the Sovon breeding codes which i think are also used in England.
you can download the code tables from http://waarneming.nl menu option this site.
if you create a conversion tool yourself which convert our breeding codes to your breeding codes within an csv/excell export you can help yourself.

if a large group of observado.org users want to use this we can help with this.
