Alcedo atthis

I think this bird is not a pure leucopsis, but has canadensis/hutchinsii genes. It looks similar to several recent birds in Sweden where the same is suspected.

Also i do not know any earlier descriptions of such variants in Barnacle goose.
The black stripe over the eye which is weak in most barnacle geese, is very pronounced here and the flank and back are nearly uniformely coloured.

Imagine the backcross of Barnacle goose with such a hybrid Barnacle x Canada as in the following link:

This could result in something as the subject bird.
