Autographa iota Haworth 1809

Atrophaneura aristolochiae and Pachliopta aristolochiae refer to the same species. Both names are widely used but most recent sources (for example Indian Foundation for Butterflies) seem to recognise Pachliopta as a full genus so I would do this as well.
To conclude:

Atrophaneura aristolochiae should be made a synonym of Pachliopta aristolochiae

+ idem for
Atrophaneura hector should be made a synonym of Pachliopta hector :right:

Twee kikkers blijken synoniem:

https://observation.org/soort/maps/202909?from=1920-12-07&to=2021-12-07&show_heatmap=0&method=0&count_ex=0&only_valid=0&check_validation=0&grid=50000&kwart=0&st=&second_specie=

en

https://observation.org/species/955291/maps/?start_date=1920-11-22&interval=86400&end_date=2021-11-17&map_type=grid100k

https://oudeversie.waarnemingen.be/soort/view/208213
want die verwijst naar WoRMS als bron:
http://www.marinespecies.org/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=131504

Over MOTHS:

Deze

https://gambia.observation.org/soort/info/802478

is synoniem van deze

https://gambia.observation.org/soort/info/927459

http://www.afromoths.net/species/show/14085

Hello,
This is not exactly a double entry, but the opposite (I haven't seen another place to mention it).

Deroceras invadens vogel_id=643948
and Deroceras panormitanum vogel_id=19907
are two different species.

See
https://www.molluscabase.org/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=988052
https://www.molluscabase.org/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=819968

The large majority of the mentions reported (anywhere, not on observation websites) as Deroceras panormitanum before 2011 concern Deroceras invadens.

So please disconnect both taxa, and change all the sightings to Deroceras invadens (if they are some of the real D. panormitanum, which I really doubt, the observers will know and fix it).

Thank you.

Louis Bronne

David Tempelman

Hi Louis,
Thanks for the alert. Should ALL sightings be changed accordingly? So NL, BE and World?
met vriendelijke groet,
David
