unsicher Acinia corniculata observed at 2019-07-26 BRD - Cham (Landkreis)

Hi Ingrid,

I've had a look in De Nederlandse Boorvliegen by John T. Smit and I think you are right. The book says the wing pattern is "onmiskenbaar". One small note of caution - I don't know where in Germany you live and the book only covers a small part of the west of the country (roughly west of a line from Bremen to Stuttgart) so there might be a twin species involved.

I live in the Bavarian Forest. This is in the Eat of Bavaria on the czech border. Subject to I file the pictures under this name.
